Tell me about yourself.  How long have you been writing?
I started writing in 2007 when my life was at its busiest. I was remodeling my house, working a labor intensive full-time job, plus trying to run a household in the chaos. The decision was easy though. I took a good hard look at where I wanted to be in five years and what I wanted to do. I knew I wanted to write and I made the time.
What inspired this story?
Life inspired this story. The novel took me four years to write and a year to get it out the publishing gate but I poured my soul into it.
Who is your favorite shifter/vampire character (besides your own)?
Oh, this is a fun one. Edward Cullen from Twilight and Aiden Wait from Being Human. I love Edward’s heart and Aiden realness. Edward is what I’d like a vampire to be like and Aiden is more what I expect one would really be. I love them both.
How do you balance your day-to-day commitments with your writing life?
I don’t have a set writing schedule so I don’t struggle with balancing commitments. All I will say is if I have an idea in my head, I disappear and hide away with my laptop where no one can find me.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Sure, I’d like to invite everyone to connect with me online. See you there!

Three years ago, death blew out the candle in Alexis Hall’s life and left her devastated. Nothing could replace what she’d lost, not even the sexy stranger she awoke married to. Still, she finds it hard to ignore the dangerous sparks he triggers within her. She knows Bradley Cox took advantage of her. What she doesn’t know is he holds a secret that will change everything.
But Bradley isn’t her only concern. In a moment of desperation to somehow reclaim what she had lost, Alexis made an offer to a vampire––free blood. Her blood.
In a story of heartbreak and obsession, a simple ad changed Alexis' life forever and on one fateful night her dreams and her nightmares will collide. Can she trust Bradley? Or is he her worst mistake? Can she retract her offer to the vampire? Or will she fall under his deceptive spell?
