What inspired you to
become a writer?
There was nothing in particular that inspired me to be a
writer. As long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to write. I was drawn to books
at an early age and read whenever I had time and whatever I could find. After
college, I was working at a news station and the idea for this series came to
me. I began writing on my free time. A year later, after completely rehashing
and restarting the first book, I finished it.
Who are your favorite
romance characters (besides your own?)
I love Cat and Bones from Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress
Series. I also love Malkom Slaine and Carrow Graie from Kresley Cole’s
Immortals After Dark.
Tell me what inspired
this story.
I’ve always wanted to write a book, but I didn’t know what I wanted to
write about. After college, I delved into the romance genre, in particular the
paranormal genre. One day, the idea spurned of writing a series about five
sisters.
How do you balance
your day-to-day commitments with your writing life?
I write as much as I can whenever I can. It all comes down
to whether I have ideas though, and those come when they want.
